We will be testing as my virtual event is coming up in three weeks and I want to make sure the server can sustain the traffic load. The setup of the page is a 2GB Vultr HF server from Cloudways, with Varnish cache turned on. Since this is a static website, Varnish will help reduce the response times drastically. If it were an e-commerce site, Varnish would not be able to cache pages like Cart or Checkout due to the dynamic content. However, if you have a static landing page like a blog, a portfolio website, or a squeeze page for lead generation, this setup is perfectly applicable. If you are thinking about launching paid traffic campaigns, are expecting a big spike in traffic from a promotion or a guest post on a big platform, or have a virtual event coming up, website load testing is super important.
